We saw Let The Right One In again the other night. Pulsar and I both love it but while he loves it because it's romantic and lovely, I love it because it's dark and depressing. I cannot believe they did a remake of it, yet am not surprised. Let us not speak of such things.

I've seen it and it's great. I loved how the girl's eyes would be subtly bigger in certain scenes. A very freaky effect. And don't worry, I avoid American remakes like the plague, unless I'm feeling masochistic.
You guys might like Marebito, which is an even darker take on a similar theme.
The last film I saw was:
I thought it was fairly silly and unremarkable, though some entertaining gore effects and a really hot teacher-student lesbian sex scene redeem it somewhat.

We saw 28 weeks later again last night. I enjoyed somewhat.
I still can't see the video on my phone, but have just watched it here, on the computer. Of course you guessed I was only interested in the hot teacher-student lesbian sex scene

Yeah, 28 Weeks Later. The first half an hour or so is pretty good, then it just stars to annoy me. There are even a few (very few) directed shots by Danny Boyle in the first part of the film, which is why it's probably so good.

Yeah, I figured you were trying to lure me into saying something pervy.
I watched Cold Fish a few nights ago. It was brilliant in terms of its plot, acting, direction, and cinematography, but it's so depressingly dark and brutally violent that I don't feel I can recommend it. Easily one of the top 3 most disturbing films I've ever seen, narrowly surpassing Visitor Q and coming in second to Antichrist.
